Am I in trouble Mom?

It's amazing that so soon after they start walking, they get SO quick! I turn my back just long enough to put in a movie, and as quick as I turn back Marlee is MIA. Little stinker. Sure enough I found her in the front foom of the bathroom playing with my hair stuff and make-up. Don't worry there is nothing dangerous in that cupboard. Anyway, I loved the face she made when I caught her with my camera. She just stopped dead and looked up like..."am I busted?". I just had to laugh. Love that little turkey.

Peekaboo!?!

So Marlee LOVES her baby blankets (well, actually my baby blankets but that's ok). She will cuddle with them all day long. Her new favorite thing is to play Peekaboo under them. She thinks it is absolutely hilarious when she gets under the blanket, and we ask "where's Marlee??". It always makes me laugh. Ahh...the simple joys.

Rascal Flatts

The concert was AWESOME! It was in Omaha, and we had a blast. Taylor Swift and Gary Allen opened and were both good, but the main event ROCKED! I have been waiting a long time to see that concert, and it was worth the wait. They were every bit as good live as they are on CD. It was a night I won't forget, thanks hubby!

And Then there were pig-tails

Well, we started with corn syrup bows, moved on to headbands, eventually got to the mini-barrett and now the pig-tails. I was so delighted to see that Marlee's hair actually keeps the rubber bands in! I was in shock! It has taken us over a year to get here, but YAY! And doesn't she look beautiful? Ha ha. Look at that face... I think I may have watched Zoolander a few too many times when I was pregnant! I was excited, and couldn't help but post these cute pics...notice the pink cell phone in her hand....man that scares me!

Ok, so last night (when we took this picture) we were on our web cam talking to Nana W and aunt Jenn. Jenn blew Marlee a kiss and Marlee actually blew one back! She even said "muwa" it was SOOOO cute. So, now she really thinks she is something and is blowing kisses left and right. It is really a sweet site to see. Anyway...just wanted to share a cute story. Love you all!

SHE'S WALKING!

Well, Marlee is officially walking! She's been toying with the idea for weeks, but I think she just thought, why? Finally on Wednesday last week, she wanted something across the room and I looked over and she was walking the length of our front room! It was awesome! We haven't been able to stop her since! It is hilarious to watch her, she looks like a zombie walking with her legs straight and her arms out in front of her. Oh she makes me smile! Oh, she also cut her first tooth yesterday!! It's been trying to come through for some time now, and finally made it! It's about time! She's growing so fast! I feel like if I blink, I miss something new. Anyway, love you all!

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!

She is her mothers daughter! Gail and I made some chocolate chip cookies over the weekend, and Marlee FLIPPED for them. Now, 4 days later, that is ALL she wants to eat. Woops. She is teething and not eating very well, but the ONE thing she will eat... CHOCOLATE! Can't say I blame her. What a stinker!

Tender Moments

Can I just say, I LOVE THIS PICTURE! For the most part, Marlee is pretty much a Mama's girl, but every once in a while she just wants her daddy. The two of them are my world. I love being able to see Collin look at Mar and know that he loves her as much as I do. I love my little family!

Nana and Papa Earl

Nana and Papa Earl came to visit this past weekend. It was SO nice to have visitors. Not that I am complaining that we haven't since my mom and grandma just left last weekend, but it was SO good to see them again. I hate that Marlee has not gotten the chance to spend a lot of quality time with them. I was very pleased when she remembered them....as were they! We didn't do anything special really, but just got to be together. We love to just relax and enjoy each others company. Dad let me play with his camera all weekend, so here are a few of the shots we got of them with the princess grand baby.
