4th of July!

All of the Whitmill cousins
The Fourth of July really snuck up on me this year. We kept it pretty low key. We had a BBQ with the family at my parents house and then we all went to watch fireworks afterwards. Good food, family and fireworks. The kids were in heaven. I don't know what it is about fireworks, but I LOVE watching my kids light up as they watch the "magic".

Preschool Graduation

She started at 3 and barely missed the kindergarten cutoff last year by 6 days. I think in the long run it was best for her. She will start kindergarten in a few weeks and be 6 in September.
We moved right at the end of the school year which was hard on her, but luckily my sisters run a preschool together and allowed her to finish the year with them. She made a lot of progress in the last year and I can't wait to see what she does next year.
We love Smarty Pants Preschool!

Carnival

My girls look forward to the elementary school carnivals every year. This year was no different. They had a great time going on the little train and down the BIG slide. They stuffed themselves full of cotton candy (courtesy of Nana) and stayed up late. Always a blast.

Brycen's Birthday at the Zoo

I still keep in touch with my very first friend in Kindergarten. She has a cute little guy named Brycen and for his 2nd birthday they had a party at the zoo. The girls had a BLAST! They got a special little room where they pulled out animals for them to pet and learn about. Marlee made fast friends with a sweet little girls named Aspen. They were spoiled rotten and got to ride on the train AND the merry go round. We had a great time and it was great to see some old familiar faces.

Back to the Land of the Living...

I'm back... I hope. It has been a CRAZY 6 months for our little family. For those who don't know the story from FB, family or other sources here goes:

1. We're pregnant (26 weeks) with a BOY!
2. Collin got laid off in April
3. We moved out of our house in Colorado Springs in May
4. Collin got a new job in Littleton in May

That's the rough run down. I have a lot of pictures and posts to catch up on before this baby comes, so be patient with me and realize that my posts will probably date back to Feb of this year. I hope to be back in the blogging swing of things before school starts and this baby comes. Wish me luck and patience.
