Marlee got some of her 2 year pictures taken yesterday. Our neigbor Jordan does an AMAZING job with the kids. It was a pain, but I think she got some really awesome shots of Mar's little personality. You absolutely HAVE to check them out! Just click on http://marlee-proofs.blogspot.com you will be able to see them all there. Let me know by FRIDAY if any of you would like to order any and I will put it in with my order!

Here SHE is....

Here is the newest little member of our family. IT'S A GIRL!!!
Our ultrasound went well, and everything looked great. She was ALL OVER the place. Just like her sister...yikes! I will be delivering here in Vermillion the first week of January! We haven't decided for sure on a name, but are leaning towards Makenna (Collin has loved that name for years). We are very excited for Marlee to have a little sister and so is she (some days).

Home....Sweet Home
We are finally back to our own little home here in South Dakota. I have been working my butt off the last few days trying to get our little place put together. Actually...it's not that little! It is 2 story, three bedroom, & 1 1/2 bath. We have a TON of storage. A walk in pantry, a HIGE walk in linen closet that is like 6 feet and shelves on both sides, a coat closet, and an outdoor storage closet on the back patio. I a LOVING it. I already feel so much more at home here than I ever did in our other apartment. I feel way better about bringing a baby home to this town house. It is such a relief. PLUS, we found out this week that I will be able to deliver here in Vermillion like 5 blocks away instead of Sioux Falls which is a huge stress relief. I am 19 weeks now and my 20 week ultrasound is scheduled for Friday the 24th. I am SO excited. I am so ready to find out what this baby is and start working on its bedroom. We love and miss you all, and are SO SAD to be missing the EARL reunion right now in Moses....hope you all are having fun!!!

Lake Powell
Fun in the Sun

Our trip to Lake Powell this year was so much fun. We had all of our eligible Earl family there FINALLY, and a lot of friends and family. Collin's 2 best friends from high school came with their wives and one of my best friends from hair school. It was so fun to have everyone together again. Those occasions are few and far between. Marlee absolutely LOVED it. She wanted to stay out on the speed boats 24/7. She loved the water, the SkiDoo and everything else we did. I was so happy she did so well. The weather was up and down at night, but Marlee and I slept insidfe on the bunk-beds so it wasn't bad. I so look forward to our next trip.

This is some of the group jumping from a ledge inside this cool cavern thing Dad brought us to. The little guy is Mikkel, he is so fearless. I love him!!

Hanging out on the boat...her favorite place! She was a pro flagger by the end of the week!
A walk on the beach with Daddy...I couldn't resist this darling picture!
I will put a few more pics on when we get home and I am working on my own computer! We love and miss you all!

Health Scares.....
We went to Lake Powell last week which was totally awesome and we had such a blast. We are back in CO now for a week or so to see my family which has been good for me. For those who hadn't heard my dad is a bit under the weather. He got in a car accident a couple weeks ago and a few days later was having some pain in his stomach so my mom took him to the ER and they told him he had some internal bleeding and they would need to do an exploratory surgery to find out more. When they opened him up they found a tumor the size of an "over-inflated football" in his stomach. He is seeing the Oncologist on Monday to find out exactly what sort of treatment they need to do. It has been nice to be here and help take care of him this week, though it is always hard to see your parents like that. Your prayers are appreciated.
On a different note we had a scary experience with Marlee yesterday as well. She was playing in my parents living room alone for a few minutes and when Collin went to check on her she handed him a blister pack of pills and said "candy Daddy". Well, 10 of the 15 pills were gone and we didn't know how many she had taken. Luckily we found out they were Laxatives... which sucks for her but she is ok. She threw up and then had some wicked diarrhea and bad stomach cramps, not to mention TERRIBLE diaper rash but it could have been MUCH worse. I am SO thankful that she didn't find stronger pills because she really could have been hurt badly. Needless to say I cried a bit and then said a prayer thanking heavenly father that the pills she took were not more harmful it was a really traumatic experience...for us all.
