Bair's Visit

Before we left for Boise, our good friends the Bair's came to visit. I never realize how much I miss my old friends until I get the chance to spend some time with them! We mostly just hung out and laughed. Jessica and I can't help but laugh when we're together, I love it. Marlee and Ava were SO thrilled to be reunited as well. They acted like they never spent a day apart. We swam at the hotel both days which the kids loved. I never end up taking as many pictures as I would have liked because we're too busy having fun, I also didn't get any of Jessica and I. Oh well. Sam (Jessica's husband) is a trooper. He gave us a night off to go shopping and out to dinner with the girls and he stayed back at the hotel alone with SIX kids! What a guy, right? I hope they come back every summer!

Boise/Moses Lake/Sandpoint

I had been unable to plan for sure, but luckily my perinatologist cleared me to go on our summer trip to visit family, so I loaded up the car and took the girls...alone. It was a long drive, but we broke it up by stopping in Provo for a night (thanks Chan and Ray) then onto Boise for about a week.
I LOVE going to Boise and staying with Myca and Jared. Alysha had the week off so we actually got to spend quite a bit of time together. It was MUCH needed after the few months I had had previously. My good friend Nicole and her family also made the trek down from Idaho Falls to hang with the crew. Marlee LOVES her cousins Boston and Hendrix so I had been hearing about
them for months leading up to this trip, I think it was worth the wait because they were pretty much inseparable. It makes me smile to see my kids play with their out of state cousins because I'm always worried that the distance will affect their relationship. Makenna and Tayden played together VERY well too. Last summer they were still pretty small and didn't interact much.
I adore this picture of Kenna and Ryan. I love watching my girls play with their uncles.
I think she'll do ok with a brother...
Nicole, Me and Myca

After our stay in Boise, we made the drive up to Moses Lake to see Grandma, Grandpa and of course great Grandma Earl (one of my favorite ladies EVER!) We really just relaxed while we were there and went to great grandmas pool everyday. My girls made a TON of progress in the water this summer. By the end of the week, Marlee was cruising off the diving board and the slide by herself! We really enjoyed spending time in Grandma Gail's GORGEOUS garden. I love it out there.
