Sunday was a long day for us. We got up early to make sure we were all ready for church on time. Surprisingly enough all 4 of us were dressed and ready to go 30 minutes before church started. We get there and things are going well, I smell something and then Marlee says she has to "go poop" so, I send Collin out with her and the wipes just in case she had gone in her pull-up. After they walk out I decide to get Kenna out of her seat. I reach down and grab her and feel something wet...yuck. I look down and not only is she covered in poop, but so is the car seat, the burp rag, her stuffed bunny and her Binky. Nasty. I have NEVER seen that much poop come out of an infant. There was so much that it was literally pooled in the bottom of the car seat. Of course, having sent Collin with the wipes I am stuck in the pew covered in poo and no wipes. Nice. Not to mention this is the ONE Sunday I did not bring a back up outfit. The lady in front of us turned around and saw what was happening and was like "oh my gosh, do you need some help?" She handed me some wipes and I was able to wipe her down enough to carry her and the seat out. We get to the family bathroom and lock the door, strip Kenna down and start soaking everything in the sink and scrubbing the car seat with soap and water. Then Marlee says it smells so bad she's gonna throw up and runs to the toilet and starts gagging. Luckily nothing came out. After about 20 minutes in the bathroom we put a mostly naked Kenna in her partially wet car seat and head home to change. It was something we just had to laugh at. We had some time before classes switched and they all looked so good I had to snap a picture before we headed back.

That is quite the story!! I havent had that one happen yet (knock on wood) but it is good that you can laugh at it....
What a gross yet cute story. Glad everything worked out for the best. :D Way to handle it so well. :D
Definitely a good idea to laugh instead of cry about this one . . . it's disgusting but so so funny!

I know! They will only have accidents when there's not an extra outfit! Or when circumstances are at their worst. Those girls are so CUTE, Both McKenna's are growing so BIG! Love, Cam
Yuck, yuck! I could just see the yellow slim filling up the bottom of the car seat and EVERYWHERE as I read that! And of course it's on the day when you're all ready early! Too funny :)
That's awesome. I had that happen, Parker was a few weeks, only I was nursing him at my bro-in-laws house, and had white pants on. NICE. I miss u sooooo much. I definatley need to escape to CO!!!
been in similar situations. That is never appealing! Sound slike you handled it well. Evan too has bathed in a restaurant public washroom. Always that "walk of motherhood" when you come out of a bathroom with a mostly naked child and a bundle of clothes wrapped in papertowel, with poop ooziing!
