It has been a CRAZY couple of weeks here. We had our good friends Todd and Lara and their kids come out to visit us last weekend, they left Tuesday and our families came into town on Thursday for graduation. The hooding was Friday afternoon, and a graduation party for Collin on Saturday. It turned out perfect, couldn't have planned it any better (the only thing to make it better would have been all the siblings being able to come!).As I sat there in the hooding Friday night and listened to the dean and a Supreme Court Judge talk about the challenges Collin has faced and the difficulty of this achievement, I was completely overcome with pride for my husband and what he has been able to accomplish in the last three years. I also appreciated to recognition they gave to the spouses and families of the students and said that we too, deserve a diploma...AMEN!

One Happy man...

Another future Earl Lawyer?

The proud parents, all 4 of them
We went to Sioux City for some Famous Dave's, and gave Collin his graduation gift. He got a new IPOD. Collin can't live without an IPOD and his broke about a month ago. Horrible timing. Anyway, the fam pitched in and he was THRILLED! Saturday was the luncheon with family and our Vermillion friends. It was fun to sit and chat with everyone. (I am lame, and didn't even get any pictures of Collin and his friends!)
We stopped by the campus on the way home to get some pictures on "the sign" that I wanted right outside the law school,in all our USD gear. It is truly beautiful here right now.

I am happy to be at the end of this exciting weekend. I am exhausted and looking forward to spending a stress-free week with my hubby before he heads off to Colorado to study for the BAR...
And as promised... Jenn, this is for you! Not the best video, it is from my cell but it is proof that Makenna took more than one step! That's right. My baby is a ROCK STAR! Take THIS Hip Dysplasia!
Happy Mothers Day to all my Mamas, hope your day was as great as mine!

Thanks a lot, now I have the Dora the Explorer song stuck in my head. And that can't really be Collin, because he is SMILING! I didn't know he had it in him. ;) Wish we could've been there. Can't wait to see you all!
Congrats, Collin I am very impressed and proud of you! You are the Man.

Congratulations to all of you!!! Graduation, walking, everything!!! Mandi, we need to get in touch... I hope you guys might still be able to come get your dose of the Black Hills before Collin takes off. If not, we still want you and the girls! :)
Looks like it was a great celebration! Even Makenna knows how to give her daddy a gift: walking! That video is awesome and it warms my heart!
so exciting. Congrats to both of you. About disneyland. We had so much fun and, Rob is 3 1/2. He was so much better then Oli was when we took him when he was 2 1/2...but, I still found my self saying...I am not taking anymore kids under 5 to disneyland. Rob kept getting freaked out about some of the rides...some he wouldn't even try. It is really frustrating because it is always mom who has to stay and wait while everyone else goes on the ride. Plus he kept getting too tired. But...he hasn't stopped talking about it for one second since we have been back so maybe it was worth it. I don't know. In the future I think I will take every kid that I have that is 5 or older and leave the babies with sitters.
COngrats!!!! SOunds like a great celebration for all that HARD work. Good job you guys, you made it!
Were super happy for you and hope to see you soon!
Congrats! So proud of you! Wish we could have been there. So much change is on the way...it is very exciting.

CONGRATULATIONS!! We are so happy for you!
PS..
I TOTALLY agree with Ashley on the whole Disneyland thing.
Wow, congrats! Quite the achievement! That's so exciting McKenna is walking!! YEA!!
I am SO happy for you! I know how much hard work it takes, and isn't it crazy how quickly it flies by? So are you planning on going back to CO? I know some sisters who would be pretty happy :)
Congrats you guys! And what a GREAT walker! Oh, are the little girls coming too? If they are I can totally get beds for them. Love, Cam
Ah, that makes me so happy to see Kenna walking. Does that mean no surgery? What a relief for you guys. Congrats on graduating!!! What a happy time in your lives.
We're still not sure about the surgery thing. She goes into the pediatric orthopedist on Monday. But, I am feeling pretty good about it now! It's got to be a GOOD sign. Thank you to all those who prayed/fasted for my sweet girl....it was a miracle weekend.
