For the first time in over 5 years, I will be going to a salon tomorrow to get my hair done. I have only had myself, or my friends from hair school do it ever since I went to cosmetology school. I like my hair blonde, but it is getting SO frustrating to keep it up on my own. I sit in front of a mirror foiling my own hair about every 4 weeks, and I am SO done. So....wrong season or not....tomorrow I will be brunette. I am a little nervous just because I haven't been dark in quite a while and not with my hair this long....we'll see......I guess I might still chicken out.

I know how you feel, its a pain... Change is fun, if you dont like it you can always go blonde again but it will look great, and your eyes will really stand out! Plus you deserve to be pampered. Good luck and post pictures when your done.
I had NEVER had my hair dyed (okay, except for that awful bleach-blond thing I did on my own back in high school!!) until a few weeks ago. I went to a salon and had it dyed darker brown with a hint of red, and it definitely took some getting used to...but now I love it. I bet you'll look awesome, and you'd better post some pictures of your new 'do when you're done! When are you guys coming back to Verm? It is getting SOOO quiet around here! The Howards are gone, Torey has been gone with her kids for a while, Brenda just left with her 2 for a month....there's nobody around to talk to! Hurry back!
I bet you will look great! I just dyed mine really dark a few days ago and was worried about the summer thing... oh well. :) Good luck!
Yeah!!! We can be burnette buddies! Its so nice to have a change and I had the same problem with my dark roots taking over my blonde hair!! Being out here in Boston for the summer makes it hard on my hair without Chantell doing it so I got the courage to go to SUPERCUTS and get a trim! Crazy I know!! I never thought I'd ever go...but being out here you get a little desperate!!! Ha ha ha! Well I'm excited to see your dark hair! Good luck!! :)
