I just wanted to take a minute and say how proud I am of my husband. He is an ambitious guy, and he follows his dreams. In the last three years, he has not only graduated from Law School, but also written a novel. Most of you already know this. What most of you don't know is that The House Of Grey is almost finished, has hit over 135,000 downloads online and that Collin and Chris were nominated for a Parsec award. In Collins words they are the Grammys of podcasting. The boys left for Atlanta yesterday to go to the convention. A lot of times this book is a pain in my butt. It takes time and energy from Collin, and a great deal of patience from myself and my girls. Still, no matter how jealous I get of the time or how sick I am of hearing about it at times, I am SO PROUD! Proud that Collin is who he is, and is ok if other people don't like that. Proud that he can follow his dreams and not be afraid of the "haters". Proud that he is mine (sorry ladies).
So, Collin and Chris good luck, and no matter what happens, you will come home winners in my eyes!

Collin has always been like that. Very self confident, and I know a lot of girls who were very interested in him! So, are you guys coming to the MLHS ten year reunion next summer? Tell him congrats from Melissa Redford.

That is so awesome about the nomination! I totally hope they win of course but it's really commendable to even be recognized and nominated. Very cool!
