So, I learned my lesson the hard way. If we have another baby, and that baby takes a binky, we're taking it early on. I was a sucker with Makenna... I am aware of that. I was not ready for the fight she would put up when it came time to "pull the plug". She is SUCH a stubborn little thing. We decided to take her to Build-A-Bear, so she could put the binky in a stuffed animal. It worked really well, she had a great time and acted like such a big girl I was shocked!
Until we got home and she said "Mommy, where's the hole?" I said "What hole?" She started to panic and said "the hole.... the hole for the binks!?!?!?!" I then had to explain to her that she wasn't getting them back. Guess I should have gone into better detail when I informed her of the trade off...woops. She cried for about an hour that day, and every day got a little better. After about a week she stopped asking for it, and we are finally done! YAY!!!

Good job Kenna! Your hair is so cute btw in that picture!
Thats a great idea! I am glad that she is doing better. Taelyn is the only one that has taken a pacifier for me. Its been nice, but I didnt know what I was in for! Not looking forward to taking it away! :)
I dont get to talk to you very often but it looks like you guys are doing good and having fun!
This is such an adorable idea. Mason is not even a year yet, but I am already trying to prepare myself for the day, years from now, that I will have to take his binky away. You must let us know how this worked!
